Schaumburg’s Kellum Clark, Québec’s Braeden Allemann Earn Weekly Awards

AVON, OH – In the first full week since the All-Star break, players from last season’s conference champions posted gaudy numbers to capture weekly awards. Schaumburg Boomers outfielder Kellum Clark hit .538 (14-for-26) with three doubles and two home runs, while Québec Capitales starting pitcher Braeden Allemann struck out 11 over 6.2 innings.

Schaumburg Boomers outfielder Kellum Clark started his week by going 3-for-5 at the plate with a two-run home run in a win over the Windy City ThunderBolts on Tuesday. He collected an RBI double on Wednesday and tallied four hits — including a home run and a double — in Thursday’s series finale.

Clark stayed hot against the Joliet Slammers, going 2-for-4 in all three games of
Schaumburg’s weekend series. He doubled and scored the Boomers’ first run during Friday’s win and scored on Will Prater’s walk-off double on Saturday.

Clark is in his first season with the Boomers. He played for the Pioneer League’s Rocky Mountain Vibes in 2025 and spent the previous two years in the New York Mets organization. Clark played collegiately at Mississippi State University and was a member of the 2021 College World Series champion team.

Québec Capitales right-hander Braeden Allemann pitched a quality start on Friday against the Down East Bird Dawgs to earn Pitcher of the Week. Allemann allowed three earned runs over 6.2 innings while striking out a season-high 11 batters and walking none.

The Capitales are a perfect 14-0 when Allemann pitches this season, and Allemann himself owns a 7-0 record. He ranks inside the league’s top five in strikeouts (76) and WHIP (1.13).

Allemann is in his second season with the Capitales. He’s been named an All-Star in each of the past two seasons with Québec. Last year, he took home the Brian Tollberg Award as the league’s top pitcher and was named the starting pitcher for the All-Frontier League Team. Before joining Québec in 2025, he spent two seasons with the Trois-Rivières Aigles and played collegiately at the University of British Columbia.
